Let me start this post off by saying this, Kool G. Rap is one ugly dude. How he gets the opportunity to turn a fine female like Karrine Steffans into Superhead is mind boggling and remains the one of the biggest mysteries to ever occur in this lifetime. On a more serious note, KGR is labeled as one of the true pioneers to the East Coast mafioso rap style, paving the way for Nas, AZ, Mobb Deep & Raekwon. I always liked KGR’s music and he remains one of my favorite rappers. I think his debut solo album, 456, is a classic album but people tend to overlook it. This record is the lead single off the 1995 album and one of my favorite records of his.
