Staying in Harlem, the next classic record belongs to Jae Millz. Before Millz happen to get down Lil’ Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment, he was, as he put it in one interview, back in his momma’s house, broke and recording music in his room. Admirable as it is, it also shows that one day you could lose everything after having success in the palm of your hands. This was from his Zone Out mixtape, funded, promoted and recorded by himself. I always thought Jae Millz was incredible, some will say he’s not the same but in music, it’s always about growth and re-inventing yourself. For the record, Vado had the best verse but Mysonne’s verse is the standout because you can hear the pain from his jail stint in his bars.
