Rap always had this obsession with realness or gangsters. I guess it’s something about a guy being so official in the streets that makes the consumers eat him up no funny business. One prime example of a rapper that’s certified happens to be Tru-Life. Tru has a rep for embrassing rappers that aren’t as real as they claim to be and relieving them of their prized possessions. Jim Jones, Cam’Ron and Mobb Deep has all felt the raft of the man. At one point, Tru was signed to Roc-A-Fella and rubbing shoulders amongst the big wigs in the game like Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg. Unfortunately, he’s currently locked up after being accused of murder and hopefully, the man will beat that charge. Here’s a record obivously that was stashed away from Tru with Jay-Z but has been released recently on the new mixtape promoting Carmelo Anthony and his new sneakers, Jordan M7. Free Tru-Life.
